Why Should I Become A Lion?

 

As a Lions Club Member you can:

  • Make a difference everyday in your community.  Whether it is providing support locally or reaching out internationally, you can have an opportunity to serve.

  • Be part of a worldwide organization carrying out community and humanitarian projects.  Members allow Lions clubs worldwide to carry out its many community and humanitarian programs.

  • Grow personally and professionally by participating in our programs, community service projects and events.

  • Gain an understanding and have an impact on local and international humanitarian issues. 

  • Develop relationships with both local and international community and business leaders.

  • Have access to membership discounts and services.

MEETINGS

Meetings are held at 6:45 PM on the 2nd Thursday of each month (except July and August) at

Temple Friendship Hall (next to church on town square).

ACTIVITIES

While the Lions are the largest volunteer service organization in the world, founded in 1917, we remain committed to serving our local communities. Nationally, we emphasize vision and youth programs. Locally, these are a few of our many activities: pancake breakfasts, road rally, eye screenings, chip chase road race, hayride, glasses collection, summer picnic, monthly business meeting.

 
 

 

DONATIONS

We regularly donate to local organizations and people in need, scholarships to graduating seniors, sight related funds, New Hampshire organizations.
